WHO WE ARE

FUTR is a collaboration among families of transgender people, trans people, trans advocates and candidates for office, and allied supporters. We are an all-volunteer effort; every dollar we raise goes directly to the candidates and non-profit organizations featured on our site.

With expert help we identify the candidates and charities for the greatest impact, so you easily can give where it matters most. We choose the candidates working closely with the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund; we choose the non-profit organizations working with transgender donors and advocates who understand the landscape of service and other organizations and the needs of the transgender community.

OUR MISSION

We are parents, friends, and families of trans people volunteering our time and resources to fight for equality and dignity for trans people around the country. FUTR is dedicated to broadening the base of support for trans Americans to secure their rights to live their lives fully.  We do this by connecting others with trans loved ones to support both trans/non-binary candidates for elective office and trans-led philanthropies building a more equitable and inclusive future.

OUR VISION

We believe that representation matters, and are working to elect more trans/non-binary candidates to office so their voice and lived experience has a seat at the table.  By connecting parents and others with trans loved ones into a national network of active supporters, we seek to greatly increase the power of our community to fight back against anti-trans laws and actions at all levels of government.
