Brianna Titone
State Treasurer (CO)
Brianna Titone is a scientist, public servant, and Colorado State Representative running to be the next State Treasurer. Titone made history as the first openly transgender elected official in Colorado, and if she wins the State Treasurer race, will be the first openly transgender person to win a statewide race in the nation. Precious Brady-Davis
Commissioner of Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago
Precious Brady-Davis, a Nebraska native, is a trailblazer in public service and advocacy. In November 2024, she was elected to an incomplete two-year term as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, after being appointed to the role by Governor JB Pritzker in July 2023. She made history as the first openly Black transgender woman elected to public office in Cook County. She is running for reelection in 2026. Learn more about Precious Brady-Davis.

Leigh Finke
Minnesota House of Representatives, District 66A
A Minnesota native, Leigh Finke worked as a journalist, media creator, and documentary filmmaker before running for public office. In 2022, she was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, becoming the first out trans woman elected to the Minnesota Legislature. Throughout her first term, Leigh has served as the chair of the Queer Legislators’ Caucus. She currently serves as the House Chair of the Reproductive Freedom Caucus. Aime Wichtendahl
Iowa General Assembly, House District 80
Aime Wichtendahl is the first openly transwoman elected to government in the state of Iowa, being elected to the Hiawatha City Council in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 and 2023 without opposition. In 2024, she became the first transwoman elected to the Iowa General Assembly, winning a seat for District 80 in the Iowa House of Representatives. During the 2025 session, she fought passionately against the GOP’s efforts to repeal gender identity from the Iowa Civil Rights Act. Currently, she serves on the House Ways & Means, Judiciary, Veterans, and Local Government Committees. She is the ranking member of the Technology, Workforce, and Economic Development Committee. V Fixmer-Oraiz
Johnson County Board of Supervisors, District 4
V Fixmer-Oraiz was elected in 2022 and is the first transgender, queer, bi-racial county supervisor in Iowa. A dedicated advocate for housing as a human right, they were fortunate to serve as Chair of Iowa City’s Housing and Community Development Commission and Vice President of the Johnson County Affordable Housing Commission. Their passion for social/racial equity and climate justice have resulted in receiving statewide planning awards for their work in watershed planning and were recognized by the Iowa Environmental Council with a 2022 Business Innovation Award for their focus on “transforming communities and landscapes through engagement, empowerment, and advocacy with a focus on climate change. Dr. Alexis Hoffkling
Colorado House of Representatives, District 23
Dr. Alexis Hoffkling is a family doctor, an educator, a proud union member, and a progressive democrat. After years of mastering the skills of being a caring doctor within the walls of the hospital, she is ready to be a champion in the halls of power. She will fight for universal healthcare, an economy that works for everyone, and freedom from the forces of oppression. She comes equipped with the skill she practices every day as a doctor: combining objective reality, reasoned analysis, and human values to make decisions to improve people’s lives. Joanna Whaley
Michigan House of Representatives, District 2
Joanna Whaley is a transgender woman who survived 15 years of conversion therapy in a high-control religious setting. Her past equipped her with a deep understanding of the origins of many dehumanizing policies currently impacting our government. Whaley firmly believes that Michigan is for everyone and that Downriver citizens are committed to mutual care, ready to unite for justice. She’s seen the community consistently rise to challenges, showing collective leadership. Whaley stresses the importance of fostering unity, working to ensure that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are truly accessible to every neighbor.
